Technology is changing asset management at an unprecedented speed and scale. The global regulatory environment for cybersecurity and data protection is becoming increasingly complex and fragmented.
The members of BVI have written a guideline on cybersecurity that
- provides an overview of the most important cyberrisks for the fund industry,
- provides guidelines for measures that fund companies and their service providers can take to protect themselves against cyberattacks,
- promotes the exchange of knowledge on the avoidance of cyberrisks within the fund industry.
